just watched tonight, very enjoyable. obv it's a liam plug thing but even so he does come across as a good bloke and it does make you think when his brother paul and bonehead have seen him at his worst and still stuck with him through thick and thin.
interesting about him reaching out to noel when his money worries were at a peak...
was great to see it concentrate on his self-written songs as that is something even he plays down, but the lack of footage or even mention of the other AYW tunes written and recorded in the States was a bit interesting too.
great to see him fully involved in the studio sessions, would love to hear those early demos.
and for those asking why no oasis tunes, it's been widely reported that they were in the original cut and noel rufused permission for them to be used.
watched it as an amazon stream - anyone got a heads up on what dvd extras are?

The extras appear to be very underwhelming, theres like a studio recording of I Get By or somehting but its overdubbed with the album version. Stuff like that and a random story from Liam that has nothing to do with anything.
Bonus footage for Blu-ray (31min) 1. I Get By at Abbey Road Studio 2. Party at L.A. 3. Peggy and Paul Gallagher talks about Childhood 4. Peggy and Liam talks about Noel. 5. Pretend to be Tarzan 6. Choosing Band Member 7. Charity Gig at O2 Ritz 8. Snap Studio 1 9. Snap Studio 2 10. Internatioal Trailer 11. Japanese Trailer 30sec version 12. Japanese Trailer 90sec version
I'm also thinking about buying it, though I already have the UK Blu-ray - which makes it quite an investment with shipping and possible custom charges for the extras only...
