I ordered my copies from the Warner Australia site, already been dispatched and being delivered on Monday. In the meantime I've been listening to the album on Deezer. I don't know what to make of this album so far, so I won't give my thoughts just yet.
I’ve pretty much been listening to it since I downloaded it, easily his best album in my opinion. Very varied songs and any of the songs could easily be made a single, very impressed by it. Liam’s White Album
Order from the official store not dispatched… Order from Assai no information… Order from Blood Records no tracking…
Does my head in when you preorder months in advance yet no idea if you’ll have the record on release day.
Official store I usually get it on the day after release but heard nothing at the moment. Banquet Records despatched the vinyl from there on Tuesday so should be here today, not heard nothing from Blood Records although when I ordered the Coral vinyl from there it took a while. Managed to download a hooky version of the album earlier this week as I knew I’d be waiting for ages to do things the right way, frustrating mate.
Check your spam folder for an email from Blood Records mate.
Mine is in there and there is a Royal Mail tracking but it only says the next notification will be after a delivery attempt.

That’s where I ended looking when I was waiting for the Coral vinyl so set there emails to safe but I’ll also keep a look out.
Edit - first one to turn up was the Blood Records one, no email or nothing, just rocked up. Sounds great as well.

Initial Reaction:
Best songs:
1. too good for giving up (best ballad he's sang on imo and probably the most memorable of the record, might even be better than once. Should've been lead single). 2. the joker (just really like this track, catchy and fun) 3. Diamond In the Dark (most modern song he has sang on) 4. Moscow rules (interesting ballad, has some lyrics that even seem relevant to the situation in Ukraine) 5. World's In Need (much better than the live version)
average tracks:
1. don't go halfway (this song has great verses but a poor chorus which lets it down) 2. wave (fairly indifferent to this, don't hate it but don't love it either) 3. it was not meant to be (nice tune but clearly album filler, swap this with joker) 4. more power (had potential but doesn't really go anywhere) 5. better days (clearly written as the commercial, radio friendly track, don't really care for it anymore but it's not awful) 6. Everything's Electric (too much like wall of glass again for my taste but not an awful track) 7. C'mon you know (like it more than I did at release but could be a lot better)
poorer songs:
1. I'm free (can't get into this, just a generic stomping rocker with no real redeeming quality. It's like the musical equivalent to a middle aged dad putting on his leather jacket and thinking he's still trendy. Might grow on me but currently think it's garbage. Tries too hard to be punk rock and gritty and ends up sounding like a poor man's sex pistols.)
overall, mixed bag for me..........HOWEVER, I still think it might be his best solo record to date just because it's so interesting and not so keen to be commercially appealing (like why me? why not.)
I feel more confident that the record hasn't instantly grabbed me because it will probably last longer in my mind. I already feel more compelled to listen to it again and again compared to "why me? why not." where I generally felt bored pretty instantly due to the lack of depth.
"look how far you've come, stronger than the damage done, step out of the darkness unafraid, remember you belong here as much as anyone, even when you're just about to break"
All my orders from the official store came today except I had to order the boxed set and the deluxe cd again as when I looked at my orders they weren't even on there yet I did pre-order when they were first announced so I don't know what happened there. But at least I got everything else today including the Down By The River Thames cd and vinyl. Also, my order from Amazon arrived today which was the coloured blue vinyl and also my clear vinyl which I ordered from Picadilly Records arrived today too. So I was pretty lucky.

ive been listening all day today and for me the 2 tracks that stand out are MORE POWER and TOO GOOD FOR GIVING UP,the singles have grown on me also, very solid album i think.
My order actually arrived from the official store yesterday, then got an email in the evening saying it had been shipped. Everything I ordered including from the independents arrived on release day, can’t complain at that.

I was lucky yesterday to get my Amazon order as sometimes they can arrive late. Like last time with Why Me Why Not arrived a day late.
Well surprise surprise the official store have fucked up…
Claiming full payment details were not supplied yet the money left my bank account and a confirmation email was sent.
Now waiting to see what they come back with.
On a brighter note, the Blood Records picture disc, Amazon Blue, HMV Red and both Assai vinyl if C’mon You Know and River Thames all arrived.
Glad to hear some of your orders have turned up at least Jim! I've got nothing yet. My Japanese CD was out for delivery today but I've just had a note saying they tried to deliver but no one was at home, even though I've been in all day! 😠
I vowed never to buy from the official store again after the fiasco of Why Me Why Not. Had 3 box sets delivered, each one more damaged than the last. I gave up in the end.
But now it appears the deluxe CD in the box set has Bless You included I might end up trying again. Will probably be a bad move 😂
I don't want to sound like I'm complaining all the time about the official store but it wouldn't have been hard for them to state this on the tracklisting page would it? As far as I could see it only mentioned an exclusive track was on the Vinyl? Their service just never seems to get better for me unfortunately. So it's actually a Deluxe Deluxe CD in the box set??

Thanks James, much appreciated. I'm glad it's included, just would have been nice to know this upfront. If I had no faith in the official store before then my position has been cemented now.
Maybe it's just me and I'm thinking too negative about it all. I totally don't know anymore.
