I think Liam even confirmed in December that the new album is "nowhere near finished", so even removing the logistical problems of releasing a new album without the ability to tour. I don't think the album is even close to being released.
Given Liam's prior albums releasing in late September / early October, they would need to be releasing the lead single in May / June to start promotion over the summer festivals.....festivals of which likely won't be happening. So unless they scrap the established schedule completely, we might not get anything until early 2022 at the earliest. Even if things start returning to normal in the summer due to the vaccine roll out. It's probably going to be months or even years after before they start allowing thousands of people to pack into venues.

Agree, my guess is first gigs allowed in limited capacity venues not before the end of 2022 / early 2023. Hope I'm wrong.

Yes, you're right , Liam did confirm in December that the album is nowhere near finished. It'll be ages yet before he and Noel can even think about releasing new albums. And, even if they release new albums next year I don't think that we will get anything at least until the end of the year.
