It could actually, it was the beard that seemingly started the Sweeney Jobb era. All joking aside, look at him compared to anyone else on that was on NXT. He's always been the most comfortable talker, had a fairly large moveset which now includes the Bullhammer which is usable on men of all sizes and just has that look. It's time for an English World Champion and his name is Wade Barrett.
British Bulldog, Sean Michaels, Bret Hart, Macho Man Randy Savage, Legion of Doom, the Undertaker, a bunch of others. Is it sad that I'm admitting this?
Don't see why it's sad to be honest. It's just TV, good TV depending on your preferences. And it's amazing live, went to see Wrestlemania in the Big Apple this year, it was a great experience.
I'll turn it on every once in a while but I cant get into it like I used to. I like the Miz though. Even watched his shitty Marine movie.
Two favorite wrestlers of all time.
His fights with Ric Flair and Savage probably top ten fights of all time.
Chris Benoit. Sick fuck but fun to watch wrestle. Liked watching him tangle with the big boys. Feel bad for his kid just typing this. Scumbag.
Benoit in his day was a great wrestler, BUT he was a terrible person who did things for which he can never be redeemed. Anyone who thinks it's wrong that WWE refuses to promote him now has clouded judgement, he'll never go in the HOF, he'll never get a new DVD, hell, why should they acknowledged him on TV after what he did?

Are there people making that argument? It's like the NFL releasing an OJ greatest plays now.

It's not directed at anyone here, but on other forums a while back I read a group of fans complaining that they've "erased Beniot from history" and that even though the man murdered his family "he was still a great wrestler", which to me is bollocks - the man is scum and doesn't deserve any positive praise from WWE regardless of how talented he was.

People are just crazy insensitive. I loved watching the guy wrestle but I wouldnt even watch clips of him on youtube now.
Is anyone looking forward to Summerslam? A few of us were chatting about it last night, I for one am looking forward to seeing Cena Vs Bryan for the WWE Title, Bryan's slowly but surely becoming the next face of the company...and all I can say is YES! YES!
I used to really be into WWE since about 2003 but I lost interest a couple of years ago. I still have the JBL era WWE Championship belt and Cena's original spinner Championship belt. I've done so many frog splashes on my bed, you won't believe. Lost interest after a while I guess.
