Brilliant race today, first time in a couple of seasons that I really enjoyed a race. So many twists and turns and it was also nice to see someone other than the Red Bulls especially Vettel win the race. Ricciardo and Magnussen had a great race as well. So apart from the sound of the engines I guess the new regulations were a really good thing.
It's going to be one hell of a season!

The engines suck might as well watch it with the volume off but apart from that I enjoyed the first race. First I've enjoyed in a looooooooong time.
Riccardo got removed from the final results due to some dodgy fuel thing or another, hope that doesn't become a regular thing through the season.
Oh too bad for Ricciardo. He had a great race, deserved that podium place. Though Magnussen was my favourite in the last race, I hope he can keep it going.
Yeah the engines sound bad but I actually got used to it as the race went on funnily enough.

Felt sorry for Ricardo today, not only has he inherited Webbers position in the team he's also inherited his bad luck
Seriously! If the 1st race wasn't bad enough and now this. Worse part is that he seems to be a genuinely talented driver. I guess the season's just getting underway, he's still got a lot of time to get his act together.
Still I hope those fuel flow issues that Red Bull have been having don't come back to haunt him. They seem to be a real nuisance at the moment.

Watching the second practice session of the Bahrain GP. Surprising thing is it's happening at night. Never seen Bahrain under lights till today, the track looks superb. I wonder if the race will be under lights as well, probably not but IMO it definitely should be!
Also Red Bull already having fuel flow issues again and it's not even qualifying yet. I think this is seriously going to hamper their season. Hopefully the hearing on the matter with the FIA next week goes their way.

Bahrain was easily one of the best races I've seen in the last 10 years. Never seen this much wheel to wheel racing in a single Grand Prix. Especially the competitiveness between drivers of the same team is great to see. Most of the battles yesterday were between teammates which is great to see. I especially loved the Rosberg-Hamilton battle, nail biting stuff. Fair play to Mercedes for really letting them go at it.
Guess the new regulations FIA put in place were for the good, I haven't been this excited for a season in years, especially after seeing what happened at Bahrain!

The Bahrain circuit looked amazing in the dark and lit up
Sure did, I think this year will basically be a contest between Rosberg and Hamilton. Mercedes just look a league above the others at the moment. Also Rosberg seems to have developed some new confidence. I really liked how after the race he said, "I hate loosing to Lewis and I'll surely win the next race."

Insane race yesterday, Jules Bianchi has had brain surgery, hope he makes a full recovery. But seriously why wasn't the safety car out if there was a crane near the race track. For all the vigilance the stewards show to penalise someone if they go 1 kmph faster than what is allowed in the pits, this is a huge lapse.

This isn't funny at all, I think. It's probably, just visually, the worst (and most grotesque) crash I've ever seen in Formula One. Hope he's gonna be alright in some way. Just judging from these horrible pictures, you'd assume he was dead at the spot.

I don't think james meant ha as in its a funny crash, I think he meant it in like oh the videos gone, English isn't his first language, he tries his best.
But yeah that is pretty horrific, hope he'll be ok.
