Like I stated in my introduction message here, I usually don't buy any new promos these days. Well, except for today that is. I found this weird promo on eBay, and managed to grab it for a pretty decent price. I've contacted another Oasis collector about it's authenticity and he said it looked like the real deal.
The promo in question is this one. It contains tracks from the Japanese leg of the great Standing on the Shoulder of Giants tour in 2000. The track list is as follows:
1) Go Let It Out 2) Who Feels Love 3) Supersonic 4) Acquiesce 5) Where Did It All Go Wrong 6) Roll With It 7) Wonderwall 8) Cigarettes And Alcohol 9) Whole Lotta Love 10) Live Foreever 11) Rock N’ Roll Star
The seller stated that there's no cue sheets included with the disk, so it may take some investigating to find out what concert this is from. But shouldn't be that big of a problem I think. I'll make sure to send pictures and the audio to Jim when I get it
Can anyone shed some light on this one?
Kenneth
Edit: God damn it, I'm not very good at this computery stuff, so pardon the awkward placing of the picture.
Yokohama Arena, Tokyo, Japan - Date 05th March 2000
I would imagine, an FM source is about of that gig from SFX so I would assume that the source is from that promo cd as it wasn't the complete broadcast
There we go! I think I might have that gig on a silver pressed cd as well. The Flashbulb label have some really great bootlegs from that leg of the tour. Newborn a Precursor is my favorite. The only time they played D'you Know What I Mean? on that tour. And what a version it was as well! Wish they didn't drop that song from the setlist...
