I'm kind of wondering whether there might be a block on all the mid 90s shows if knebworth is somehow blocked from being released. That might explain why they aren't doing anything for maine road either.
Specially since Alan was digitally removed from that performance of morning glory from a talk show in the US as well, which probably shows that the potential issue with Alan etc might extend past knebworth.

I guess it has something to do with the difference between videos were they already signed their rights away back in the days (like official music videos) or videos/scenes for which they didn't grant anyone their rights because they weren't officially released or only broadcasted. The latter ones would have to be cleared to be released.
To me it sounds more like he didn't want to do any new interviews. So maybe the others said: if he doesn't want to be involved in the making of the doc, we'll erase him out of uncleared old scenes so we don't have to pay him any royalties...

I think so too, anyway Whitecross said "don't wanna be part of"
From what someone on the L4E forum said, basically they would have to get permission to release a DVD or something. But they could just release it online without that permission. Because don't forget MG, CNS, and a few others already have been released online. Permission would have already been given years ago apparently
Yeah, i don't think it was a 'block' as such, they just come across as very private people. If i recall rightly Guigsy wasn't in the Definitely Maybe doc.
Oasis: Murrayfield 2009
NGHFB: T In The Park 2012 | Edinburgh Castle 2012| Glasgow Hydro 2016| Glasgow Bellahouston 2016| Twickenham 2017| Glasgow Hydro 2018| Perth 2018 | Edinburgh Castle 2018 | Edinburgh Playhouse 2019

Isn't only Champagne Supernova released on the Stop the Clocks DVD? Cast No Shadow was uploaded as a unlisted video on their YouTube channel, and Morning Glory is sourced from the director's website. There is also a pretty good quality version of Don't Look Back in Anger 2nd night online that isn't sourced from a bootleg.
I'm sure the whole gig is already uploaded on YouTube as an unlisted video, we'll just have to wait for somebody at their office to post it on Facebook by accident or something like that.
Edit: I just checked, and this video here is a higher quality version of the bootleg we all know.
1st night Columbia - partial, Supersonic doc Roll With It - partial, BBC doc Morning Glory - Full, Leaked from Video Director. Cast No Shadow - Full, Youtube Wonderwall - partial, Live Forever doc The Masterplan - Full, MTV Broadcast or Youtube Champagne Supernova - Full, STC DVD
2nd Night "This is History!" - Official Facebook DLBIA - Full, Youtube

It's still weird why there has been no live album though because the BHN remaster came out the same year as the documentary which contained the "my big mouth" performance from knebworth.
They also put out the masterplan performance from knebworth on the WSTMG remaster as well, so I'm not sure why they haven't just released the audio of the full show even if they can't release footage.
I can't believe that that releasing a full album is more problematic than releasing individual tracks. Unless they have to pay per song and therefore a full album just wouldn't be profitable.

The whole thing does seem really strange, I mean why officially release Champagne Supernova on the dvd which came with the Stop The Clocks deluxe cd and yet other songs from Knebworth have only been released online. It just doesn't make sense.
Yeah, hoping to get mine on release day but you never can tell with the official Oasis store. Fingers crossed!
Got mine off amazon cos I didn't trust the official store. Looks like some people are getting theirs after Friday.
I only got from the official store because you got some money off if you bought some keyrings, worked out cheaper. Well looking forward to watching the gigs at any rate!
Did anyone see the documentary at the cinema? Well enjoyed it!
