Live4ever's going through the motions right now with a certain troll that has reactivated his account, and I just can't be bothered to deal with the constant spams. While I did register a account here a few months back that may have been wiped by proboards? (I have no clue), I decided re-register on the 2nd.
Never did a proper introduction there, but long story short I first garnered interest for Oasis in early 2012 when Don't Look Back In Anger was played at the end of the season finale of a TV show I followed at the time. I didn't get properly into the band until early 2013 when I heard Live Forever come up through the Oasis station I set up on Pandora.
That's how I discovered Definitely Maybe, the rest of Morning Glory, and Be Here Now. Listened to those three albums (particularly Definitely Maybe) far too many times to count throughout the year, and once I discovered the b-sides I was floored on the rawness of their sound. Pure rock and zero f*cks attitude. I didn't listen to SOTSOG, HC (Yikes), DBTT and DOYS until last year, along with the HFB debut, DGSS, and BE. Chasing Yesterday was the first new Oasis-related album release cycle I had followed since Noel announced it in October.
As for finding my way through the Oasis communities, I started on the /r/Oasis subreddit, a small but great community that I found my footing in. I followed a link from a fellow user there to the L4E forum that I started reading in June of last year, and finally decided to register this past January. Met alot of great people there and alot of complete jerks, but then again what's a forum if there isn't opinions.
So here we are. Aside from becoming deeper into Oasis, their influences certainly got my attention and now I'm a huge Stone Roses fan, which their debut is in my all time top 5 albums.
I am the other end of the spectrum & have been into Oasis since the Morning Glory hype/cycle. The 1st song I heard was Fags & Booze which was being played on Radio 1 at the time (Shows you how long agao that was!) It's great to hear new fans still getting into the music, communities & general Gallagher mania!
You will have a different outlook to alot of older fans so please always be honest with your views on Oasis music, don't follow the crowd.
So a couple of questions mate - Where are you from? & apart from Definitely Maybe, What is your favourite album?

Aside from Definitely Maybe, I will have to say Revolver, the Stone Roses (debut), and Nevermind.
