So, any fans of TWD on here, both comic and/or TV? I'm a big fan of both, not read many of the post #100 comics, and I'm eagerly anticipating Season 4.
Here's the Season Four trailer for those who might not have seen it yet:

If you stopped reading the books they just started to get good again. Neegan is the bast bad guy they have had in the books and they still are keeping me guessing.
Gonna re post what i wrote about it at the other place: I hate the show yet I watch it every week. I am big fan of the comics and the show took everything great that the books created and shit on them. The characters in the show are so poorly written and they are very annoying. The only people on the show that are likable are Glen, Maggie, and Darryl. They turned the Governor who is pure evil into a boring shell of a character, Carl who is a little bad ass into a kid you want to get shot, and Andrea a kick ass sharpshooter into an annoying emotional mess.

I've not seen a lot of Negan, but I've heard he's pretty badass, does he hold up well with the original Governor storyline though?
An on the show, I do like it - but it's different. Some things are better in the comics, and other things are better on TV. I think after the Governor's breakdown at the end of the last season, he's going to become more like his comic-book self, which I'm glad for because he's monotone, calm nature really doesn't suit his character, but David Morrissey is an excellent actor.

I think so. There is more build up with his storyline than the governor. Did you read #100? Did you see what he did?

love it. only tv show I think about for days after each episode! big comics/graphic novel fan but kept away from them in this case because I don't want it to spoil the tv experience, the only time that has ever happened...
You really should give the comics a try. Some of the characters on the show are not in the comics and a lot of the storylines differ. If I had to choose it would be the comics every time. Only came about they by accident as they were a bonus with some marvel zombies comics I got but my so glad I did

Took me a little while for this show to catch on with me, but thanks to good ol' Netflix, I was hooked by the time Season 2 aired. This and Breaking Bad are the only two shows which would keep me tuning in week after week. Can have it's boring moments, whole episodes where nothing really happens, but when something happens, it does a hell of a job keeping you glued. Struggling to make it to October!

Think they revealed who ol Neagen killed recently but I'm trying my best to avoid spoilers. Was bored in the city a month back and read hours of the comics jumping around to certain highlights, amazing how different it is to the TV show.
