The problem these days is, that a forum/blog/site focusing on just one band and providing a lot of bootlegs and videos (in this case more or less 90% of what is around bootleg-wise) isn't liked a lot by the music industry. Has happened with other bands fanbases and sometimes even worse. Guns N Roses would be a good example here. They took pretty much everything down a few years ago. Forums, Youtube channels, Facebook groups and accounts. They tuned it down a bit again, but bootleg sharing is still not possible without any problems after a while.
I know that Orchard Music is targeting Oasis footage since a couple of months, but that's more on Youtube. But also MTV/Paramount/Viacom and all the other copyright holders are getting a pain in the ass for more and more useless 3rd generation vhs copies that nobody really cares. There's always some money to make. And there would be, if they would release the stuff in proper quality. But ususally they don't.
Sharing bootlegs/video on a level like here will only work within a small group (private sites, trackers,....) and with invites. Or it will be discords or some darknet site. But this also won't work if it gets bigger.
So at the end it's either a small group or it uploading the same stuff over and over again.
Didn't even consider Discord, lol. That's not too bad of an idea.

As i said on the blog thread previously, there was an Oasis Torrent tracker years and years ago, must have been 2010-2011 time. It worked at the time but i think the guy who ran it was a pretty private person from memory.
There was also the old Sadsong dot net but that was when Rapidshare and the original Megaupload. That was a great site at that time.

Why is this forum the target here, while L4E is safe? The bands are different, but the Beatles bootleg community is clearly outlawed. Because there are a lot of recordings uploaded that are just copies of the official version and remixed on a computer. This site has brought me a lot of happiness since I was in high school. I am just a Japanese student, so there is nothing I can do. Thank you very much, noelsoasis.
Would be good to know what actually triggered the warning from proboards - was it inbound from the band's management/label or someone else entirely?
I had assumed that the band's management were actually getting more relaxed as time went on - Noel and Liam are doing their own thing and Ignition (or whoever) post bootleg recordings on the official Oasis social media pages all the time. They even asked the community to share live recordings for the Definitely Maybe DVD back in 2004 and am pretty sure they did something similar for the Chasing The Sun releases.

I would assume whoever made the report to proboards has some pull in the Oasis camp. You just can't report official content without having proof you are the owner or work for the copyright holder. Such a shame to see it go Mark, Thanks for all the years of uploading you have done. The bootleg section on here was the best source for bootlegs on the internet, L4E bootleg sections doesn't even hold a candle to what you provided here, yet they are allowed to host things link this, boggles the mind!
It wouldn't surprise me if someone got their nickers in twist cause of how much material was posted here, not to mention the fact that it was so organized (almost official looking). If you don't like it, start releasing official recordings yourselves! I don't see how uploading a recording of a gig broadcast on radio 20 years ago would be hurting anyone.
Thanks again Mark for what you did for this forum. A lot of my Oasis bootleg collection came from here, so I'm forever in your debt. Miss the blog as well, definitely sad times.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the bootleg section. I’ve been using this forum since ‘16, not long, it’s a shame but understandable. Thanks again. Will still use the forum ofc but it just sucks.
