Watched Aquaman over the weekend, was alright but all these superhero films are getting a bit too much now. Not a film, but watched the new Paul Weller gig at the cinema the other week, I hate going to the cinema for films but love watching gigs or music films.
Oh and the past couple of nights I watched the whole boxed set of No Return on Britbox which started on ITV this week. I enjoyed it and it was even better than I expected.

Just got home from seeing The Batman. Acting is excellent, story is good, great cinematography...Didn't love it, didn't hate it. It's definitely a well made film, I just like some of the other Batman films a lot more.

The only superhero thing I don’t mind is Batman but after the Christopher Nolan films, any other Batman film(s) are going to be extremely hard to beat, I thought the Tim Burton ones couldn’t be beaten so I’ll give it a watch anyway. Why do they insist on going safe and using the same villains tho?

I'm not a big fan of the Nolan films. They good movies don't get me wrong, just a tad overrated in my opinion. The studios will keep on using the same rouges gallery because that's what the common movie goer knows. They play it safe all because of ticket sales.

That trilogy of films is just sensational for me. I watched Gotham and enjoyed the majority of that, some episodes were dodgy but I’d like to see a film based around the Court of Owls and a swerve away from the usual villains. I think whatever villain you put up against Batman you’ll get good ticket sales tho.
I watched the new Scream last night. Being a massive fan of the original trilogy I didn't get my hopes up. But I was pleasantly surprised. Glad it made fun of itself (like the original)

Sw this last night, thought it was terrible. Dragged on for far too long and just wasn’t impressed

Yep, the running time was ridiculous. Didn't need to be as long as it was.
