I collected between 2000-08. Sold some stuff but kept most of my vinyls.
I did begin collecting both Beady Eye and High Flying Birds promos again though.
I've never seen this CD, only knew of it from the old forums. Another one I saw spoken of was a radio edit of Keep The Dream Alive but again, never seen it.

I can confirm that it does exist! Might be able to dig up a photo of it once I get settled in my new apartment in mid-October, as I think I saved it on my old computer.
I have only seen it twice in 15+ years of collecting. The first time was on a US mail order webshop in 2001. This is where my picture (assuming I find it) is from. It was priced at $150. I regret not buying it, but its one of the times you don't realize that the opportunity won't be there again for a long time. And not to mention it was a lot of money. Today, though, it would probably sell for a lot more if a few of the diehard CD-collectors got involved in a bidding war. I believe there was one copy sold a few years later aswell. I can't for the life of it remember how that sale ended, but it would be great to hear from someone who actually owns one! I can check with the FB collectors group, and a few mail contacts to see if any of them bought it.
They performed it on US tv, so that could make sense.
It was performed surprisingly on the David Letterman Show. I was hoping they did "Go Let It Out".
"I Can See A Liar" was mixed so so poorly vocally at that performance. Sounds awful. It's shocking because sound check is over an hour for Letterman and they do the song 9-10 times. I'm still shocked they didn't get it right.

Nice one for the info Joakim, much appreciated. It must be quite a rarity if you have only come across it twice. Thanks again.

I thought it sounded okay myself.

Joakim you are a legend! Thanks for sharing that very exciting info
There are probably so few copies of an ICSAL promo because Noel had Ignition hunt them all down and destroy them. That's not exactly a song I'd want representing my work to be circulating around!
However, that said I'm glad they played ICSAL on Letterman. It was definitely a surprise and I like when Oasis surprise us.
i would rather wait and find a stereo hi fi mix of this tape to give my full judement on the sound it does sound very muddy but it would be the tape we have

Actually, it sounds good. Considering that it was one of the first live performances of the song, is very good. I´m really surprised that Gem´s guitar sounds so clear. Back in the day, Bonehead´s guitar was at a very low volumen, or even no sound at all (ex: Jools Holland 95... embarrasing hear Noel´s guitar on both channels. This is how it was mixed, not broadcast problem).
Liam voice is well balanced... and is overall a very good performance. Maybe someday a better version will see the day of light.... who knows...
