I don't know about Depp, for Ridder I'd go with either Paul Bettany or Benedict Cumberbatch. And as for Gosling, I'm not sold on him as a serious actor. I'm planning on watching Drive tonight, but from the clips I've seen, he just doesn't seem intimidating - which isn't helped by his voice or his pretty boy-esque look.
watch the movie first. he really did a great job there. he should have been nominated for an oscars for this role imo. great soundtrack too. he reminds me a bit of dicaprio. in the beginning everybody hated him for titanic. but after that he showed that he's an incredible actor. i could see that in the future for gosling too
Interesting, I do really like Gosling, don't get me wrong, I think he's a very good actor. I'll give Drive a watch tonight!

i watched drive not to long ago and i was bored to tears. i expected a totally different movie. never been a fan of gosling. he seems to play the same character in all his movies. gangster squad was pretty good though.

Same here, I was expecting to love Drive, but it was a totally different film than what I thought it was going to be...I did see it dubbed in French though, maybe it's better in the original version.
Gangster Squad seemed like it was gonna be over-the-top silly, maybe I'll give it a watch though!

i can understand that. it's just not a movie for everybodys taste. it reminded me a bit of no country for old men, but thats obviously a better movie
I would never call a gay guy a faggot – unless he’s being a faggot. If I would watch two dudes blowin’ each other, I would be respectful to them. But if one of them would put the dick out of his mouth and start saying annoying faggy things like ›People from Phoenix are Phoenicians‹ or something like that, I would say: ›Quit being a faggot and suck that dick! - Louis Ck

i actually didn't mind no country for old men. might need to watch it again though, i only saw it the one time.

According to The Sun, the Batman of Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight’ universe is being offered roughly $60 million to return for a showdown with Henry Cavill‘s Superman. We don’t know about you, but there are a lot of things we’d do for $60 million. Surely Mr. Bale could find a reason to put the cape back on.
However, Bale has publicly stated that he’s ready to see what another actor will bring to the character, and the Oscar-winning actor has quite a busy schedule. Plus, director Christopher Nolan has made it clear that he would not have his ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy intermixed with DC’s grander plans.
Of course, $60 million can change many minds and rewrite a great many plot points. Not to mention the fact that people all over the world would go bananas if it was Bale’s Batman who returned to take down the new Superman. That’s some ‘Avengers’ money right there.
But there’s the grain of salt. This rumor comes from The Sun, a British tabloid with a nasty track record of publishing things that are, well, completely made up and false. There’s always a chance that this is true — we have no doubt in our minds that WB has considered getting Bale back, but the $60 million payday is something that has our eyebrows raised questioningly.
Not going to happen IMO. Nolan calls the shot on the Dark Knight series, even if Bale was willing to do it which is a long shot Nolan wouldn't let him and I don't think Bale would do anything to annoy Nolan.
I'd prefer it if Bale didn't do it. If the film bombs, at least the Dark Knight Trilogy's legacy will remain untouched.
"Who'll pick you up when you're spread too thin, when the walls you built are closing in around you? I found you...."
Batman Beyond was a great show. The movie was pretty awesome to.
I loved the movie! I remember how excited I was when I was saw it on T.V years ago.
I remember I used to love Batman Beyond. I used to religiously watch every single episode. Quality show.
Have you seen Batman: The Animated Series? That's another one from the 90's(good times). Every morning at 9.00 am I used to be in front of the T.V without fail to watch it, it's a really great series. Very dark, great storylines and excellent voice acting. Kevin Conroy was a perfect Batman and Mark Hamill as always, perfect Joker. Check it out if you haven't.

Batman The Animated series is probably the best animated series ever. I have the complete set on DVD. used to watch them all the time on tv when they first aired in 90s.
Nolan's Batman universe has no connection to this new DC universe. It makes no sense for Bale to come back anyway.
yeah. bales batman wouldn't fit man of steels universe. the dark knight looked like it could really happen but man of steel was a bit over the top so that would ruin nolans batman universe.
anyway i think it's a tough one to bring superman and batman in a realistic movie together. both seem way to big for one movie
