I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question? I have a collection of Don't believe the truth demo and sessions recordings. Their is a version of The Roller in this set. Is the correct time period for this song?

There is no demo or session recording of The Roller available, officially or leaked, only fake versions which have been circulating since around 2002.

Delete it with confidence.

I believe so, theres this demo though Im not sure when this was recorded, the only reason I believe it to have been during the DOYS era is because there arnt any other beady eye demos out there (I think?)

It's never been confirmed when Man of Misery was demoed.

It is either a leftover from the Don't Believe The Truth sessions, Liam's vocals are similar to his version of Lord Don't Slow Me Down or from a demo session before Dig Out Your Soul was recorded properly which is a possibility as the track has that heavier vibe with the distorted guitars.

Noel had stated the band recorded 13 or 14 songs for that album, the 11 album tracks, Come On, It's Alright (Outside), Record Machine and possibly I Believe In All as both Lord Don't Slow Me Down and Boy With The Blues were recorded during the Don't Believe The Truth sessions.

The above "demo" was released via two Pretty Green videos back in 2009 and edited together. The music was credited as by Liam Gallagher.
