I think Mertesacker's hay day is over and Koscielny just doesn't look the deal. Sad because in attack Arsenal have been superb expect Ozil, he's been invisible most of this half. What happened to him? He contributes nothing to the team.

I'll be surprised if Chelsea drop any points this season. I know it's early days still but they look invincible.
Diego Costa will be new Drogba ? He just 25 years old, Drogba was 27 or something when he came to Chelsea. Chelsea started this season like 04/05 season their squad good. Seems like Mourinho turns his old system in Chelsea.

Yeah it's took him into his second season but he's finally got rid of who he wanted, if you look at the players they have sold and also the players they have on loan Mourinhio's done a brilliant job. Costa was quality in Spain last year but was shite with the national team in the World Cup (as was they all!) but he does look suited for the Premiership. Their defence is still leaking a few goals tho. Whoever finishes above Chelsea this year will win it.

i gave up on ozil after the 2010 world cup (and im german). he's just lazy. in my opinion, he should be used as a bench player. shame, because hes capable of such brilliance. alot like nasri... liverpool lose @ anfield. i really think theyll struggle this year (and in the future). no suarez being the main reason, but the extra games will kill them in the end i think. bringing in balotelli will hurt them aswell. costa by far the pick of the new comers...
What a sublime performance by United! Haven't enjoyed a United game that much in ages. Okay so it's only QPR but there was a cohesion in the team which hasn't been there for a very long time. Herrera and Blind were superb in midfield, Rojo was solid at left back as well.Di Maria was brilliant as usual. I'm very glad LvG has gone back to a 4-4-2 formation. Worked superbly today and the biggest improvement of all....no sideways passing!

Couldn't agree more. We haven't played like that since Fergie was about. Like the look of all the signings, Rojo could be the next Evra, but where will Shaw fit it? Di Maria is one hell of a player, we haven't had that kind of player who can shift like that since the days of Ronaldo. I'll be more convinced when we get a few more wins under our belt as last season I kept thinking we was going to turn the corner then we messed up again the following week. You've got to feel proud being a United fan hearing the reaction Falcao got, superb!

Rojo may switch to center back I guess but we'll see. There could be some more dodgy results on the way but around Xmas/new year, the mentality implemented and the squad in sync I predict that the engine will start running in a smooth fashion.
Very interesting game for United. They started well but later what a come back for Leicester City. Man City vs Chelsea first half was quite boring game. Diego Costa played well, i think it was break point when hit the post after 1-0 then Lampard make score 1-1.
Nothing much has changed since last season with United, they got the odd good result last season then let themselves down the following week with a shit performance, the signings we have got in so far are good but you need a good defence to compete and we haven't got that. Evans and Smalling are shit, Jones is always injured, Rafael needs to man up and stop losing his head (although it wasn't a pen in a million years!) To score 3 away from home is good, but to concede 5 is a fucking joke. Leicester deserved it tho, it could have been a lot more as well. I dread to think what we will be like up against Chelski or Citeh at the moment, if we concede 5 against Leicester.
Well Rooney certainly made a hash of it yesterday, things were going fine, we were winning and even the defence looked solid but then Wazza had to go and kick Downing in the crotch. WTF! I mean a foul would've done the trick but he just seems so angry on the pitch these days it's insane. Van Gaal seriously needs to have a talk with him, almost cost us the match for Christ's sake. Also he now misses the next three games which are EVERTON, West Brom and CHELSEA! Yep no biggie.
Really impressed with Paddy McNair though, him and Rojo looked really good in the centre of defence, also McNair basically saved the game for United with that insane header. Hope he gets a start even when the disaster train that is the Evans-Smalling express get back to fitness.
