Well Rooney certainly made a hash of it yesterday, things were going fine, we were winning and even the defence looked solid but then Wazza had to go and kick Downing in the crotch. WTF! I mean a foul would've done the trick but he just seems so angry on the pitch these days it's insane. Van Gaal seriously needs to have a talk with him, almost cost us the match for Christ's sake. Also he now misses the next three games which are EVERTON, West Brom and CHELSEA! Yep no biggie.
Really impressed with Paddy McNair though, him and Rojo looked really good in the centre of defence, also McNair basically saved the game for United with that insane header. Hope he gets a start even when the disaster train that is the Evans-Smalling express get back to fitness.
You wonder what goes through his head at times, I know it's been 5 year since he was last sent off but it was hardly like we was struggling at the time, we was 2-1 up and in control of the game, there was no reason to do anything stupid like that. I do think an angry Rooney is a better Rooney tho. West Ham have been playing well of late so it was pleasing to see us hold out for the win. It was good to see Rojo and Blind being so vocal and organising things at the back as well, something Smalling, Jones and Evans seem to struggle with. McNair did well on his debut, we still need a world class centre back tho, LVG needs to break the bank to get Hummels in January
Oh please Arsenal and Liverpool fans continue to criticise United, we'll just sit here in the top 4 until then....
It's so tight tho mate, I can't see us picking up anything from the Citeh and Chelski games so things could soon turn around, but might as well enjoy it while we can eh!
De Gea was outstanding yesterday as well, same with Di Maria, all we need is the defence sorted then we should be ok.

I know it's early days mate but I'm really happy we're in the top 4 for now at least and Arsenal and Liverpool and way below us. I know we'll probably lose against City and Chelsea but I'm more than confident we'll win against Arsenal and Liverpool because they've been really mediocre till now and even with so many injuries we seem to be playing really well. Also McNair and Rojo seem to have a good chemistry in that defence. So yeah I'm pretty confident that we'll do better than those two in the league.
De Gea was absolutely on fire yesterday, what a performance! That's the one thing we need to improve. They seem to do really well in the first half then it tapers off in the second half, if LVG can get the team to be more consistent and put games away we should be fine.
"Who'll pick you up when you're spread too thin, when the walls you built are closing in around you? I found you...."

arsenal and liverpool arent way below you?! theyre 1 point behind. and united havent played anyone yet. two average/alright games in a row dont convince me. arsenal and liverpool have been as mediocre as united so i think its anyones guess wholl win those match-ups. saying that, i think you could end up on top of liverpool by the end of it...but i doubt thatll be top 4.

Haha I guess they're not that far behind but I'm enjoying it all the same. After a shaky start LvG and co. seem to be working well as a team. Despite our defensive issues the attacks have been great, quick passing and great individual talent as well. Arsenal and Liverpool have been really flat so far, or at least it seems that way to me. Everton was a good result for us, hope it'll give the team some confidence going into that huge game against Chelsea. I'm not expecting the world but against Liverpool and Arsenal I know United are capable of holding their own. Only time will tell I guess.

I did tip Southampton to do well this season but fuck me, I didn't expect that. Their scouting and youth development at that club is amazing! The bigger clubs should take note. Hopefully QPR can get something from the scousers today.

QPR hit the bar 2 times in first half. In begin second QPR missed again.
