Totally agree, Liverpool quite bad on this game. Balotelli still disappointment. What a bad miss was that oh my god!
He's been really poor, I think this might not turn out to be the best signing Brendan's ever made.
He was always a last resort signing, when you consider Falcao was being offered to clubs around the time Balotelli was signed and the rumours are that Rodgers was put off by his wages but I bet Mario is on a fair whack. None of the so called star players who was available was interested in moving to Liverpool. Remy was a much better option and cheaper in my opinion.
Southampton and West ham have had a blistering start, and both playing football,I was a big sam out guy last year but credit where its due,the new signings have settled in quickly.
LVG has a major head ache concerning his defence, the fear factor has totaly left Man Utd,where as teams were beat in the coach or dressing room before the game, its different know.
This season could be the closest yet, apart from the fifa team at the top
Been out of town so haven't spoken about this but what a game that was at the weekend right?
United looked settled and matched Chelsea pretty well IMO. That Drogba goal was inevitable since Rafael is no match to him. I had lost hope then but when Van Persie scored I literally jumped up and started shouting, what a moment that was! But yeah we deserved that draw.
Derby this weekend, I think this is going to be more difficult. With David Silva, Dzeko and Aguero in their side and with our defensive record I'm not too confident. Our only hope is if the defense steps up like they did against Chelsea or if we manage to outscore them. Either way it'll should be a cracker.

Aye it was a great result mate, I had us down for a battering. Think things would have been a bit different if Costa was playing but hey ho.
Rafael was the only option to mark Drogba if you think about it, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry and Matic are all dangerous and big players for defending set pieces so our bigger players was marking them. They caught us too soon after the chance from Hazard and we was caught at the back. The last 2 games our play has been brilliant and we are now turning the screw. Di Maria had his worst game for us I thought but he has been brilliant since joining us tho. The last 2 games we have shown we can come back in games, we didn't have that belief with Moyes. Be interesting for the Citeh game at the weekend but I think they will be seething after the West Ham game so we'll have to be at our best.
Look on the bright side, at least Young's still out! Wasn't Shaw and Di Maria a doubt as well? If so, that's our left side fucked with Rojo already out. Looks like McNair and Smalling at centre back then, Mata needs to start as well

Haha that's there. Thankfully Di Maria is fit for the Arsenal game, he said so a couple of days ago. I hope Shaw is fit, he's one of the bright spots of the team right now. Mata has to start in midfield and so does Herrera. I think the two of them could make a good central partnership but from what I've seen of LvG he'll never do the obvious which is frustrating at times but I think he needs to drop Fellaini and play Mata and Herrera in midfield. Fingers crossed for this Saturday.

Fellaini needs to play on Saturday, arsenal are too soft so someone like Fellaini will bully them, he's also good at closing players down which is needed playing against arsenal, let them pass the ball and they'll hammer us! You just know Wellbeck is going to score as well.
What a win that was yesterday. I have to say Howdo you were right about Fellaini. He proved everyone including me wrong that he couldn't play with that performance yesterday, I mean he gave it his all. Very impressed by his performance and also the efforts and runs he made which were missing completely last season. Smalling and Carrick were great too. David De Gea though is becoming a legend, I mean we'd be nowhere without him. Hats off to another stellar performance. Rooney again proved why he's such a highly regarded player, wish Di Maria had scored to make it 3, that miss only shows he's lacking confidence at the moment. Hope he nets one soon to get over it. What makes this victory even sweeter is knowing that this will be a massive stick up the arse of that troll Piers Morgan.
Oh yeah and #WengerIn

Fellini was amazing for Everton, and I think he's finally showing that kind of form for us now. Was a poor game to watch tho, Arsenal was terrible and just can't finish, maybe with Giroud back they will start putting them away as his strike was a cracker. Van Persie needs dropping I'm afraid, Wilson looks a better option at the moment, or even Mata with Rooney playing as the main striker. Was shocked at the win tho, up into 4th now with the injuries we've had ain't bad.
I hope we can get some wins now, the next few games are relatively easy compared to Chelsea, City and Arsenal. I also hope the team are able to capitalise on Arsenal and Liverpool's poor form and create some space between us and them in the table.
I agree Van Persie needs to be dropped, he just isn't performing at all right now. You'll be happy to hear that Falcao tweeted last night that he's 100% fit for the next game. Now I just hope LvG picks him over Van Persie because he seems to prefer to play Van Persie for whatever reason. Mata and Herrera deserve a game too, they're too good to be warming the subs bench.
