United were fantastic this week, I was worried after Di Maria limped off(another injury ffs!) but Herrera came on and he was just brilliant. He's too talented to be warming the bench, Van Gaal needs to play him. The midfield 4 of Herrera, Carrick, Fellaini and Mata were sublime. They just stole the show for me. Rooney is also in cracking form and Van Persie was an improvement over that horrendous Arsenal performance. That goal of his was an absolute stunner, classic RvP. He needed that, you could see what a weight off that was for him. Valencia and Young again gave solid performances, considering they're wingers playing as full backs they've earned their place in the side. Smalling's last 3 performances have been brilliant and I hope he continues this form, we need a centre half who's perfroming.
Also what absolute brilliance that was from LvG, put out the official line up as if they were going to play a 3-4-1-2 and even warned up the players with a 3 at the back, they even lined up as a 3 man defence at kick off then they switched instantly to a 4-4-1-1 and you could see Hull didn't really know who to mark and close down. Haha we need more stuff like this in football. Gotta love LvG's mind games!

Yeah I enjoyed the game this weekend, think the team is finally starting to get used to LvG's tactics and with some players coming back from injury although we still seem to be picking up a few more! Hull haven't been that good this season so still nothing to get excited about but we are on the right way. The next 3 or 4 games are winnable for us so let's see how they go as I'm sure a slip is coming soon enough. Smalling has surprised me lately, and I've never rated him and hopefully that goal gives RVP a kick up the arse as he's been shite for the past season and most of this season and with Falcao coming back our strike force looks pretty good. See what tomorrow night brings.
4 wins in a row and we're breathing down Southampton's neck and that third place. The Stoke game was scrappy but it's understandable. We didn't really have any proper wingers but still a win is a win. Again solid performances by Carrick, Fellaini and Mata. De Gea was brilliant as always and I never thought I'd say this but Ashley Young was the man of the match for me, he ran up and down that left hand side and saved us with that great clearance off the line at the end. He seems to have come into some form in these last 4 games. Solid performances by him, finally starting to show why he was bought in the first place. I hope Rooney plays in the Southampton game because looking at the form he's in, it'll be a shame if he's not there. But either way I think we'll win it and as for Liverpool, it'll be United win for sure, no contest.

Hahaha Arsenal are shit. Liverpool also flat as hell. People criticise United but Arsenal and Liverpool get away with playing like crap. Also gotta love Arsenal fans, their opinion on Wenger changes from week to week if they win or lose.
Also Stoke, calm down lads it's only Arsenal.

Nah man, Arsenal and Liverpool are critisced just as much as United, they have both had years of it. Wenger has done wonders for Arsenal but I think if they want to compete with Chelsea and City they need a change of manager. Liverpool just haven't replaced quality with quality, their defence wasn't good last year but with Suarez and Sturidge up front they always scored more than they conceded, this season the signings haven't been good enough. I'm surprised Rodgers didn't feel the need to get another striker, they couldn't have planned for Sturidge being injured for this long but you look at some of the strikers that was available and they ended up just signing Balotelli and Lambert. Surely Eto would have been worth it on a free? Gerrard is on the decline now, and when he leaves/retires then there will be a massive void in the centre of their midfield. Skrtel is always a mistake waiting to happen, his hands are everywhere in the box.
Can see United slipping up on Monday, hope it happens at Southampton and not against Liverpool, can do without them Scouse gobshites gloating again. Was nice to see Chelsea slip up today as well, might open things up a bit. I think they miss Matic so much when he isn't playing.
I hope we don't slip up in the next 2 games but knowing our luck we probably will. Still it would be nice to have a 5 point gap between us and Arsenal. Please don't fuck this up guys!

It's very open at the moment from 3rd down to mid table, so if we can just stay above Arsenal and Liverpool come January then we could be in for a good shot at Champions League qualification, Southampton, West Ham and Newcastle will soon start dropping off the pace I reckon then the usual suspects will be going for the European places, although I don't reckon much of Tottenham this season so can't see them doing much.
Its promising for us with the injuries we've had and we are in 4th so things can surely just get better. It'll be interesting to see if we go for anyone in January, defence is still an issue.
Was suprised at the game last night, we was outplayed all over the park and no way deserved to win, if Southampton could finish we would have lost by about 3 or 4 goals. Young and RVP was the only 2 players that performed, Fellaini was awful and I can't remember Mata having many touches of the ball. But if we can play like that and get a win who am I to complain, results like that bring back memories of Fergie. Didn't expect us to be up into 3rd this early in the season but like I say, come January we'll have a better idea of where things stand.

Yup it was a shambolic performance, like Gary Neville said we got away with murder there. Fellaini was having an absolute shocker, he was just giving the ball away every time he got it. To be fair though so were the others but the first goal was conceded because of Fellaini. Also another injury in defence that too to Smalling who was just starting to play so well, that makes it 43 injuries for the season. It's beyond ridiculous at this point. Evans wasn't that great either. I don't know what's happened to him, I was nervous every time the ball came near him. I think on MNF they said that we had the lowest shots on goal in 11 years only 3! And only 2 on target out of which thankfully both went in. What a time for Van Persie to step up. I thought he was great last night, not just the goal but his overall play was good too. De Gea saved us AGAIN! Give the man a medal, he's the only reason United are 3rd and not 10th. Mata was invisible throughout, McNair also had a tough night, Herrera should've started IMO, he did well when he came on. And now to the thing that bugged me the most, we did so well the past two games playing a 4-4-2 and now Van Gaal changes it to a 3-5-2 and as a consequence they were moving around like headless chickens out there. Why doesn't he just stick with 4 at the back? I just don't get it. I can't believe we're 3rd in the table! WOW! If the performances can be a bit more consistent then it's looking good for us.
Also I don't think I should watch the last 10 minutes of United's games, it's not good for my heart.

Them fucking scousers are quiet at work today!!!! Love it when we beat them, just love it! If only they could finish and De Gea wasn't so fucking good it would have been a different story tho. Carrick was outstanding as well, he makes such a difference at the back. Onwards and upwards now, get Falcao playing now that he's fit as well and he'll knock them in for fun.
De Gea is a god there's no other explanation for what's he doing right now. Insane! Also agreed, Carrick was solid as always, he's always been one of my favourite players, criminally underrated though. Amazing how he didn't go to the World Cup, England might have done better. Jones was good too considering he was thrown in last minute, Fellaini was shit in the first half hour but he improved vastly after that. Hah I was scared he would get himself sent off the way he was going on at the start of the game but he showed some maturity which was nice to see. Van Persie was also good overall and chipped in with a goal as well, that's now 7 for him this season and "DAT GUY" Welbz is still on 3 I think. Arsenal fans can finally shut it with who's the better striker.
6 wins in a row, 5 points clear of Arsenal and 10 clear of Liverpool. As Van Gaal said after the game. that's not bad, not bad at all.
"Who'll pick you up when you're spread too thin, when the walls you built are closing in around you? I found you...."
Sunderland playing like a pub team at the moment on the other hand Markovic has been brilliant for Liverpool.
Can anyone tell me how Sakho is a Liverpool and France international defender? The guy is absolute shit. Stealing a living IMO.
Sunderland have been playing terrible football for years, the days of Quinn and Philips up front were terrible but they did get the results back then, now they couldn't score in a brothel.
I expected Sakho to be a great defender when he first signed but he's certainly not one of Rodgers best signings. They will have to invest heavily in the transfer market now to try and replace Gerrard and Suarez. That Markovic did look pretty good tho, I saw him when he made his debut and thought they had got a good one in him but he hasn't really been that good since but since he's had a run of games he's looked a much better player. Can Balotelli get any worse? He's shocking at the moment
I'm so glad Balotelli wasn't able to score last night, he'll never get a better shot, kinda sad he can't even net one against a 10 man Sunderland. Also did you see the slip? Looks like he's a true Liverpool player haha.
With Spurs losing yesterday and City dropping points I hope Arsenal also lose or draw and then we can be in a great position should we win against Southampton. Will be tough though.
