The "Champions" League is such a heap of pish, totally rigged for the big teams to get as far as possible and hoover up all the big money thus making the gap between the big teams and everyone else even bigger.
Will still grudgingly watch it.
So buy a fucking t-shirt and a poster on the way out you fuckers!

It's always the same. I'm not sure because some teams are not big in group stage. But basically i understand what you mean. This is "Rich Teams" League. I'm just watching Real Madrid games and semi final and final match.
What's happened to Ozil? He is terrible for Arsenal at the moment, almost invisible. You look at Welbeck up front with Arsenal and £16million looks wasted on him, he almost reminds me of Heskey when he was around, his finishing is terrible.
Arsenal were shit and so were Liverpool. The only reason Liverpool won was because of that late penalty. I mean what is it with Liverpool and penalties. They get one almost every second game.
Dortmund were excellent despite not having Hummels, Reus and Kagawa. Definitely a team to watch, could prove to be the dark horses of the competition.

I think Dortmund are starting to become one of the top teams in Europe, the players they produce are brilliant. They seem to be a feeder club to the big clubs but Kloop still brings in quality players, a bit like what Simeone is doing at Athletico, just brilliant coaching.

Dortmund already is a major european team in my opinion, definitely a contendor for the CL title this year. ONCE AGAIN, I mean they only lost the 2012/13 to Bayern by a heartbeat and were really close to beat Real last season. Klopp is still probably the most underrated manager in europe nowadays, he's just brillant in every way. Really love him.
Anyway, what was wrong with Arsenal? That was hideously bad. At first I suspected they'd be going for an away draw. But it was like Dortmund playing against their completely awed youth team. Also, like you said, what is happening with Özil? Since I'm not following the Premier League every weekend full time, has he ever played a good match for Arsenal? It's not like he was exactly our most outstanding during the World Cup as well...

I remember watching Ozil in the 2010 World Cup and he was on fire, he was running all over the pitch and his passes were superb. Even at Real Madrid he was quite the player but ever since he's come to Arsenal he's become a shell of what he used to be. He's invisible for large portions of the match, he doesn't track back to defend and when things don't seem to be going his way he just switches off. He looks disinterested a lot of times. Also he doesn't make any runs anymore. I used to love that about him but I haven't seen him take on defenders even once in the recent past. He'll run a little and pass the ball back into midfield or to the centre backs. He must be low on confidence as well which can't be helping matters for him. It's sad really because he's got so much potential.
Another problem is that because Wenger payed in excess of 40 million pounds for him, Ozil's really the "star" player at Arsenal so Wenger just can't bring himself to drop him. Some time out of the first team might help Ozil but it's not going to happen by the looks of it.

Stevie G showed balls/nerves of steel last night with that spot kick.
Arsenal lol!!
You know what, with Liverpool's attack being that uninspired and Arsenal's everything being shit we've got a pretty good shot of making the top 4 this season. The real challenge will come from the likes of Everton or even Swanse by the looks of it.
Cannot wait for tonight though, Bayern vs City. C'mon Bayern!!

I enjoyed the Bayern game, was harsh on Citeh tho. I always feel without Augero and Toure they look a different team, Toure didn't look interested last night. They are miles behind making a good go for the CL in my opinion. Chelsea really should be winning them kind of games as well, only the first game but all the English teams looked very under par.
CSKA have been penalised for their racist fans so this CSKA-Bayern match is taking place in a literally empty stadium, not a soul in the stands. Such a weird sight especially for a Champions League game.

Watched the Atletico-Juventus game last night, nothing spectacular as I had hoped but Atletico deserved the win. One thing though, Vidal didn't impress me at all, I mean so much was made of him but he was Juve's most non existent player. If we want to sign anyone I say get one of the Atletico players like Arda Turan, Raul Garcia, Diego Godin, Koke or even Greizman. All of those guys were leagues ahead of the great Vidal last night.
