earls court 95 was Liams peak, hitting the notes while keeping the power up to max , even in 96 he was starting to go downhill ever so slightly after those amazing gigs, maine road is probably THE gig of 96 for me, especially 2nd night.
knebworth is fairly meh for me, the scale was cool but Liam didnt sound too good imo very nasely and thin for that era, it had its moments though like slide away and columbia.
to me knebworth is one of those things that is on a pedestal but it wasnt really that good, it was their biggest gigs but no way near their best.
Strip away all the hype around Knebworth and it's a pretty average performance from that era.
All the gigs mentioned in the thread are far better sounding shows.
Loch Lomond flies under the Radar 2 quality shows with some funny moments in both gigs No doubt they will keep it locked up in the archives so the fans can't see it
The Cork gigs were great and were only a few days after Knebworth. I'd love a soundboard-A+++++ recording of both nights!
that my big mouth performance sounds amazing, theres so many gigs from that era and overall really Id like to hear, Id happily buy a big boxset of cds, its a shame the most or all of these amazing gigs wont ever be heard properly either because they wernt recorded or because the management / Noel would rather release bits and pieces from the usual suspects.
classic example is all the gigs over DOYS, they release the horrific itunes festival instead of something like echo area 2008, Liam had quite a few good gigs on that tour really yet they present one of the worst ones.
Those videos with just the audio are from Knebworth
For reasons still unknown on the night of one of the Cork city gigs Knebworth was broadcast and passed off as the gig live in Cork.
2fm were live in Cork all that day speaking to fans, competitions etc and I can remember radio promos about the gig from Cork going out live. Would be nice to know why people were hoodwinked!!
I thought the YT links I threw up were the audience bootlegs, my bad on that one.

Think this radio station did the same with the Heineken Amsterdam show in 05, it was clearly the boston gig.

IIRC Steve Collins who was after beating Chris Eubank for the world title and had defeated Eubank in a rematch in Cork introduced Oasis to the stage for one of the two Cork city gigs. Would be nice footage to see!
