today i got my desert boots - size 8 is perfect for me - normally i have 9, but they are too big for - so if you haven't bought PG boots before, better take a size smaller
I hereby apologize to the chap on here code-named "Gin and Tonic". He took offense at my cheeky and un-called for comments about Pretty Green clothing. This is especially appalling in light of my utter ignorance for anything even remotely having to do with fashion or taste of any kind. I am a complete rube when it comes to these subjects, I am, essentially a vulgarian and will henceforth recuse myself from this thread. Thank You.
I got a pair of the dark indigo jeans in the Christmas sales.
Went into the Pretty Green Glasgow store and they had nothing off any of the denim so had a look around a couple of other stores which I know that stocks PG and got a pair for £42, half price!
I've not been impressed with the PG sale this winter... Usually I pick a couple of things up but not this year, it's been Fred Perry all the way.
I'm hoping the new 2014 collections make a better impression on me this year, the Walrus range looks interesting and I'm definitely going to pick up a pair of the brown desert boots. Have you had a chance to wear them yet Didi?

The sales from Pretty Green have been stupid this year round, I had my eye on one of them ivory parkas, they said they was sold out on the day they went on sale so I emailed them and all they said was to keep checking back as they might have some more in from returns. So I checked them a few times a day, and thought my luck was in when it said there was one in stock in my size, so ordered one and put my card details in, and when it went to confirm it said it was out stock, 3 times that happened to me, I was well pissed off and I dropped them an email letting them know. I'll never buy full price from there again, I bought a coat full price then the next day they reduced it by half price and they wouldn't give me the price difference back so I just sent it back and got a full refund, the clothes are brilliant from there, it's the service that annoys me about Pretty Green.
them desert boots are great tho, had a pair of the brown ones for a while now, really smart and comfy.
I've got a pair of the Clark's collaboration desert boots in black and they really are the business, really comfy. The store never had a size 9 or 10 in stock for me to try the new ones. They'll need to wait till later now, ended up buying a pair of Levi 504's and Fred Perry trainers instead.
I loved PG when they first launched. I have the original Egyptian cotton black and green logo t-shirt and the limited Japanese white and red one and they are still pretty much perfect even today. From the early black label I still wear a couple of long sleeve grandad t-shirts and a crew neck wool jumper, they still look brand new. I like their denim too, good fitting for me.
However, I've found recently that the newer polos and tees only give me a couple of decent wears before they feel either out of shape or tight around the arms / neck / six pack (aye right).
Always bought a size large but after 4-5 washes they feel like a medium whereas all my Fred Perry, Lyle & Scott for example are no problem at all and I always make sure they are washed correctly.

yes, cause its a warm winter and no snow around they fit very well, but only a size smaller as normal - my normal size was way too big
i also haven't bought anything from this years sale yet- what's quite unusual - maybe when the felton jacket will be online (hopefully in the next 1-2 days) I'll add something

Good stuff, I'll need to wait till my birthday season is over, 3 of them in the space of 10 days, and then I'll hopefully pick a pair up. Will try both size 9 and 10 but got a feeling I'll be a 9 going by your advice.
