Looks like its a compilation of stuff we've already heard.
What the heck is this? Never seen a compilation like that before. It's not Noel's handwriting, that's for sure. The song that intrigues me is 'Need more time'. Could this be an version of Don't Go Away?? The song is more or less (at least the chorus) based on a Real People tune called 'Feel The Pain', which was written before 1993 (which the tape is dated to), so that might be an early sketch. There's also quotes from Noel that Don't Go Away was written (or perhaps fully finished based on this sketch?) around the time Morning Glory came out. Just a bit of speculation on my side, but really great to see something new appearing. Might even be a candidate for the Be Here Now reissue later this year!
EDIT: Oasisdna (he's a member on L4E with excellent inner circle contacts) surely has some interesting stuff on his hands.
EDIT 2: Also note the spelling of some of tracks, 'Diggsie's Dinner' (common pre-DM mistake) and 'Live For Ever'. This seems to be legit, labeled before the songs got famous. It basically seems to be a weird mix of Live Demonstration/Whatever demo tape tracks (note the running order) plus (probably) the Shakermaker demo and two tracks from 1992. It covers all studion sessions held until December 1993, Real People studio/Loco studio/Out of the blue. But that 'Need more time' thingie really got my attention.
Could "Need More Time" possibly be an alternative title for She's Electric? We know that was demoed back in 1993.
Also the tape has a Noel sung version of Married With Children too. I've never heard NG mention that he recorded a take of it back then.
I'd love this guy OasisDNA to talk to us, give us an insight to the demo tapes.
Yeah, it'd be great to hear some info from OasisDNA about these demos if he's up for it. I think any background info on these tapes would help give a more detailed picture of those early recording sessions. Interesting that Shakermaker is on there. I'm assuming that's the original October '93 demo recording from Out of the Blue studios.
It's been ages since a new demo or any information about an unreleased tape or CD has shown up. Apart from the reissues last year of course.
I'd love something just to drop from nowhere, wether it's a just a picture of something we've never seen or even a song itself, get some interest going while we wait for the Be Here Now reissue.

james , I don't know. Maybe joakim can answer your question.
Another OasisDNA tape, with handwritten track listing by Noel Gallagher (according to him). The Chief also signed it. Have three versions of Shakermaker:

Thanks very much for posting this pic. Must admit I'd not seen that cassette before. OasisDNA has a great collection there.
I'm assuming that version 1 of Shakermaker on OasisDNA's tape is the demo recorded in October 1993 at Out of the Blue Studios.
The "Lead guitar up" and "Slide Mix" are most likely from the later session at Out of the Blue (17th-18th April 1994) where Mark Coyle confirms they did additional work "tarting up" the demo (source: Melody Maker's 1st October 1994 article on the Making of Definitely Maybe). The "Slide Mix" is probably the version included as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the Definitely Maybe reissue.
The tracking sheets on display at the Chasing the Sun exhibition in Tokyo indicate two versions of Shakermaker from Out of the Blue. I've transcribed the text below, working from screengrabs from this YouTube video.

The demo of Columbia was of course one of the tracks recorded at the Real People's 8-track studio in early 1993. There are at least three versions of the demo in circulation: version 1 (on the "Oasis in Boardwalk basement" cassette), which has a different, double-tracked vocal from Liam and various differences with the samples (the "mother, take me into your arms..." one is missing, the chant is largely absent, save for a brief clip mistakenly played at the start, and the Tony Benn speech is unedited, with a snippet of BBC radio continuity / weather forecast at the very end (which cracks up the band!). There are lots of other small differences, but these are some of the main ones.
Version 2 is the mono mix heard on the Live Demonstration cassette. Same instrumental backing track as Version 1 but it features rerecorded lead and harmonised backing vocals. All three samples are now present. Version 3 is the stereo mix that was released as the "White Label Demo." A few months back I saw tracking sheets on YouTube that suggest that this stereo mix was done at Out of the Blue studios, most likely during the October 93 session, so that the mix was ready for the promo release in December of that year. The tracking sheets show that Columbia was transferred from eight track onto 24-track, ready to be remixed. So it seems fair to assume that OasisDNA's tape contains the "White Label Demo" mix.

(Title not visible but I assume it's a transfer of the demo of Columbia due to the note stating "radio at end" on track 23).

Married With Children is another track with two mixes available: the alternate mix with light percussion added and the version on Definitely Maybe. The version on Definitely Maybe is mastered from a cassette source (hiss / hum at the start etc) whereas if you listen to the alt. mix on the Definitely Maybe deluxe reissue the fidelity is a lot better, it's much cleaner and has a lower noise floor - in addition to the mix differences. Perhaps the alt mix was done at Out of the Blue, mixed down from 8-track to half-inch or DAT rather than cassette? Just a bit of speculation on my part. Hope the above may be of some help.
One of the tracking sheets on display in that video indicates an abandoned Sawmills take of Slide Away, which was a surprise. I thought they never considered rerecording it after the stellar take captured at Monnow Valley (which Owen Morris remixed for the album).
David, on your points about Married With Children and the two available versions. Another of OasisDNA's tapes posted in this thread has Married With Children marked with an astrix as a Noel vocal.
Have any of the people you have interviewed / been in contact ever mentioned a recording before?
I think we need to kidnap OasisDNA and raid his collection!!
