So do we think we'll see another remix/release this year? Abbey Road maybe? I dont know if they can justify it what with it already having a standard stereo mix already.
Abbey Road will be out soon. Ringo confirmed it on Twitter I think. Will have the deluxe version thankyou!
Totally missed hearing that one, great news Mark! Yeah deluxe sounds good to me! Hope we eventually get re-mixed versions of everything to be honest, but this one a year re-issue means I may be at retirement age before I get a full set! 😂
interested to hear the abbey road one as it's one of the very few albums I think sounds perfect as it is, can't see a remix improving anything.
I hear ya! Abbey Road is one of the best sounding records from that era. I'm more interested in the all the stuff on the bonus discs. Hopefully a nice book to go with it like Pepper and White Album.

great for 'goodbye' to finally get an offical release, real 'lost' mccartney classic. looking forward to hearing this version of 'come and get it' too.

So looking forward to this. Deluxe version all the way!
Me too! In my top 3 Beatles albums, can't wait to hear what they do to improve an already great sounding set of songs with 2019 technology! It's about time the full catalogue got re-mixed, been wanting it for 20 years now when they showed how it could be done with the Yellow Submarine Songtrack.
Abbey Road is probably my favorite Beatles album, and I'll definitely getting the deluxe edition, but I have to say I am very much more interested to see what they put together for the eventual Let It Be/Get Back deluxe set. Sooo much to choose from with that.
If I had some gum, I'd chew a hole into the sun...

Yeah, I think it's a safe bet that will appear next year with a new version of the film. 4-5 discs worth of bonus material maybe? They've got hours to go through after all!

I think Come And Get It is same as Anthology 3.
don't think so, that one was the Geoff emerick mix that was originally done for the 'sessions' album that got pulled, but then those versions were used for the anthology series (inc not guilty etc). this one is supposed to be the mix done on the day of recording, with lennon in attendance in body if not mind
