don't think so, that one was the Geoff emerick mix that was originally done for the 'sessions' album that got pulled, but then those versions were used for the anthology series (inc not guilty etc). this one is supposed to be the mix done on the day of recording, with lennon in attendance in body if not mind
Advance word is that is indeed different. Probably just a different mix maybe with some studio chat.
I quite like the thunderous Sessions/Anthology mix but it's nice to get something different.
Alright. Here is a comparison of three sources for the "Goodbye" demo with annotations and explanations of the artifacts that creep in with each successive version. I have aligned the tracks and matched levels so that it is easy to compare them.
1) MJ - Last Lacquers / YellowDog Acetates: Not modified, directly from the source acetate. Best quality, no artifacts, lossless. 2) Coltturkey - Home Demos: Higher generation copy of the acetate, with wobbly azimuth (=tape head alignment) during a tape copy causing a periodically repeating removal of high frequency content. Lower quality tape copy, still lossless. 3) Apple's official 2019 Abbey Road Super Delux Edition: From the same bad tape transfer as #2, so it shares the pattern of #2's missing high frequency content. Additionally, it is lossy (see earlier post for more close up screenshot and explanation). Lower quality tape copy and lossy encoding.
Disc 2 (CD): Sessions 1. I Want You (She’s So Heavy) (Trident Recording Session & Reduction Mix) 2. Goodbye (Home Demo) 3. Something (Studio Demo) 4. The Ballad Of John And Yoko (Take 7) 5. Old Brown Shoe (Take 2) 6. Oh! Darling (Take 4) 7. Octopus’s Garden (Take 9) 8. You Never Give Me Your Money (Take 36) 9. Her Majesty (Takes 1-3) 10. Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight (Takes 1-3 / Medley) 11. Here Comes The Sun (Take 9) 12. Maxwell’s Silver Hammer (Take 12)
Disc 3 (CD): Sessions 1. Come Together (Take 5) 2. The End (Take 3) 3. Come And Get It (Studio Demo) 4. Sun King (Take 20) 5. Mean Mr Mustard (Take 20) 6. Polythene Pam (Take 27) 7. She Came In Through The Bathroom Window (Take 27) 8. Because (Take 1 – Instrumental) 9. The Long One (Trial Edit & Mix – 30 July 1969) 10. (Medley: You Never Give Me Your Money, Sun King, Mean Mr Mustard, Her Majesty, Polythene Pam, She Came In Through The Bathroom Window, Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, The End) 11. Something (Take 39 – Instrumental – Strings Only) 12. Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight (Take 17 – Instrumental – Strings & Brass Only)
Blu-Ray: Audio Features:

Whoa! Can't wait to check this out!
"Who'll pick you up when you're spread too thin, when the walls you built are closing in around you? I found you...."
I’ve watched the first 2 episodes and they are just fascinating, I’ve had a couple of bootlegs of the film but this is just something else. Really looking forward to watching the last one over the weekend hopefully

How good is it mate! Sometimes I forgot these are real people on the screen not actors reading a script. It was just so surreal, watching these 4 guys composing and arranging their new material over a 3 week period, absolutely astonishing.
I've listened to the complete Get Back sessions bootleg of the entire 30 days, and that was a slog to get through, but not this. I really hope a Blu-ray is set for release with more footage and the complete unaltered rooftop gig.

It’s ridiculous, I was excited about it with Peter Jackson involved and he’s not disappointed so far for me. I’ve never been the biggest McCartney fan, I’m more inclined to Lennon and Harrison but that’s just me, I’ve always appreciated what McCartney has done tho but when I’ve watched this you can just see how talented McCartney is and he just has that knack with songs but it also shows how they all contributed. The stuff like McCartney just strumming away doing Get Back really got me, just seems to make it so simple. When George just came in and said do you want to hear a song I wrote last night based on a ballroom melody he heard from a film and just does I Me Mine, just brilliant stuff.
You always heard of reports in the later years of The Beatles that they were at each other’s throats but when you actually sit and watch these you can just see how much they are all enjoying it. Was good to hear Paul saying nice stuff about Yoko as well, again the conception over the years that she was to blame for the split was just nonsense.
The quality is just stunning as well, how they can restore footage like that from the late 60’s is just astonishing.
