one thing I will never understand is playing Noel tunes, they would of gained alot more respect and interest playing their own written oasis stuff, they had some awesome tunes in oasis, and they just passed over them (gem even expressed interest in playing boy with the blues), playing noels stuff only highlighted that noel wasnt there, specially songs like morning glory with noels vocals missing.
even if it had to be noel tunes, what happened to giving rockin chair a spin?, going for the usual hits just made them look abit lost and grabbing at straws to sell a few more tickets, they even played the one song Liam said they wouldnt play...wonderwall.
columbia turned out to be the most obscure thing that was played and that wasnt even technically in beady eye.
I've looked hard at the fake and real Twitter account names and I can't see which characters are different in the fake name.
I think we should all report it to Twitter 'cos as mad as Liam's reputation is it definitely does damage to his public profile.
As daft as it sounds, thousands of people will now believe that Liam has binned Beady Eye after falling out with the rest of the band and also called them talentless.
Maybe I'm just over reacting.

The difference lies in the letters "L" in Liam GaLlagher. You see, in the fake one, instead of "L" it's written with capital "I" (i)
You are right, it's really hard to tell the difference and there are sure a bunch of people that Liam himself has said such things...
some people believe he has called them "talentless", the website I got that quote off even said he put it up, I didnt even realise. most would see that account and take it for what it is, surprised twitter allows all these fake accounts, its libelous.

I agree, Did you see or hear the reaction when Cigs & Alcohol was played or wonderwall. Should have played hung in a bad place or something like that! Oh well...
very sad - was ill for a couple of days, so I only found out yesterday - always like the mentality of starting a new band on the day of the Oasis-split
on the other hand it will be very exciting to see, what all the ex-members will do in the future - so a lot of new music should be coming in the next months/years
I find it weird that they didn't play other songs rather than the usual suspects like Rock'n'Roll Star and Morning Glory. I'd really wanted them to play some of the lesser known gems like the ones they wrote. Boy With The Blues, Turn Up the Sun, Pass Me Down The Wine. So many cool songs they could've chosen from. But I guess it all boils down to how a mainstream song like Wonderwall sells tickets rather than Better Man for instance (I know Better Man isn't on the same level as Wonderwall, but I'd rather they'd play Better Man live instead of Wonderwall).
You know, I've got a couple of bootlegs where they did that one live. The one they played at the Wittness festival in '02 quickly comes to mind, and you're right: That song got elevated to new heights when they did it live Shame they never did play it after the Heathen Chemistry tour (Which had an incredible setlist throughout the tour by the way).
